An Exciting Night at Marcos 10:14 Kid’s Club

About 40 kids gathered Wednesday (July 27th) between rain showers for the weekly Marcos 10:14 Kid’s club meeting. It was a special evening as several kids took the mic and accurately recited their memory Bible verses. “It was a blessing to see because I know some of these kids have never been exposed to the Bible,” said True Path Ministry’s Martin Martinez. For their diligence they got to select a special prize.
Yessi, the True Path Ministry teacher, always includes a Bible story as a center piece for everything. This week it was the story about Jesus and the woman from Samaria at the water well. It is found in John 4:1-45. The group also enjoyed prayers, fun games, a craft project and a light snack.
We were pleased to hear from Martin about the meeting (Stephen and Tonyia are in the USA). He mentioned it was a rainy day so he prayed the Lord would pause the down pours for two hours – long enough for the gathering. The moisture stopped just before time to start and began again afterward. It was a good evening to glorify the Lord.
