It is with deep sadness that we share that Stephen Williams, co-founder and President of True Path
Ministry, went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2026.

Stephen and his wife, Tonyia, founded True Path Ministry in 2016, answering God’s call to serve the
people of Galeana, Nuevo León, Mexico. What began as a step of faith grew into weekly Marcos 10:14
Kids Clubs reaching dozens of children, Gospel-On-The-Move visits that carried worship and
encouragement into remote villages, church buildings raised from the ground up, and countless lives
touched for God’s Kingdom. None of it would have happened without Stephen’s willingness to leave
comfort behind and go. We already miss him, and we know many of you do too.

We also want you to know, with confidence and gratitude, that the work continues.
Tonyia Williams — Stephen’s partner in ministry and 35 years of marriage — has stepped into the role
of President and will continue leading True Path Ministry forward. She has been in Galeana alongside
Stephen from the beginning, and the ministry’s day-to-day leadership on the ground remains steady:
Pastors Reynaldo and Lourdes continue to oversee our facilities, programs, and local operations, just
as they have all along.

Practically speaking, nothing about how we operate is changing. True Path Ministry remains
financially healthy and operates within its available resources, every donation continues to go directly
to ministry work, and our systems for tracking and reporting every expense — down to the receipt —
remain fully in place. Our 2026 goals stand as planned: continuing both Kids Clubs, supporting
Gospel-On-The-Move trips, moving forward on rebuilding the church building in Canoas, and several
additional commitments.

Stephen used to say that regardless of what changes around us, God’s work continues. We believe that
more than ever right now, and we’re trusting Him to carry True Path Ministry — and Tonyia —
through this season, just as He has carried this ministry for the last decade.
