Kid’s Club 4th Anniversary Fiesta a Big Hit

(Note: website story has many club fiesta photos.) True Path Ministry Inc. held its Marcos 10:14 Kids Club 4th Anniversary Fiesta on Tuesday, June 25th, 2019 in Galeana, NL, Mexico. Over 110 children and numerous adults were on hand to enjoy the fiesta. There were carnival-like games, singing, dramas, a meal, and a gift bag and cupcake for each child. Included in the time was a Bible study on Mark 10:14. The children learned that if they have Jesus in their heart, they are the sons and daughters of the King.

The craft went along with the Bible study and each child decorated a crown. To conclude the Bible study, Teacher Ana asked if there were any kids who wanted to receive Jesus in their hearts for the first time. Seventeen kid’s came forward, prayed the sinners prayer and made a first time commitment to follow Christ in their lives – HALLELUJAH! ALL GLORY TO GOD!

There was a lot of work that went on behind the scenes to make the fiesta a success. Many people from the Iglesia Getsemani Church and visitors from Grace Tabernacle (GT) of Ennis, Texas worked tirelessly to make it a truly memorable and Christ-centered event. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We also want to thank all those who support us with their prayers and financial gifts – we could not do this without you!

A Memorable Trip to Canoas

Folks from True Path Ministry, visitors on a short-term mission trip from Grace Tabernacle of Ennis, Texas and members of Iglesia Getsemani Church from Galeana, NL, Mexico on June 24, 2019 made their way to Canoas, a small remote mountain village. The group lifted up the Lord in a spirit-filled worship service with fellowship, songs and Bible-based preaching. The group also had supplies for a kid’s time complete with a Bible lesson, craft project and a gift bag for each child. At the end of services we spread out a tarp on the ground and emptied several bags of clothing.

It was a God honoring time of fellowship in Jesus name. The pastor of the tiny church in Canoas was very grateful and encouraged that Christians from Galeana and the USA would come to his village to share Jesus’ love.

Iglesia Getsemani Special Outdoor Service and Baptism

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)

The Iglesia Getsemani Church in Galeana, NL, Mexico held its Sunday service June 23rd just above a creek on a ranch outside town. Hymns and Christian songs echoed down the canyon as worshipers lifted up the name of Jesus.

It was a deeply spiritual experience praising our Lord under shade trees on the beautiful day in the mountains. After the songs and preaching we all walked down to the creek and five members of Iglesia Getsemani were baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

In addition to members of the Getsemani church, visitors from Grace Tabernacle in Ennis, Texas were on hand to witness the event and join the service. It was a beautiful day that will be etched in the memories of all who attended.

Sharing Jesus’ Love in Refugio

A group from Grace Tabernacle in Ennis, Texas came to Galeana, NL, Mexico on a short term mission trip to share their love of Jesus. They joined with True Path Ministry and several Christians from the Iglesia Getsemani church in Galeana to travel to Refugio on Saturday, June 23, 2019. It is an extremely remote mountain village.  “It was a long drive but well worth it to see the huge smiles on the kids faces,” said one traveler.

There was a powerful song service for all and evangelist Ramiro preached a riveting Bible-based sermon. There was also a time for the kids when they each completed a craft project and received a gift bag full of candy and small toys. We also gave several bags of clothes.

It was a wonderful day serving the Lord. The pictures below tell the story best.

Honor Your Father…

Honor your father and your mother… Exodus 20:12

Father’s Day is a big deal in Mexico (as was Mother’s day). Dia de Padre will be celebrated tomorrow, June 16th here in Mexico, same day as the US. Our Marcos 10:14 kids club activities this past week (June 13th) helped the 70 or so children focus not only on their heavenly Father but also on their earthly fathers.

The kids especially enjoyed making the “super hero” craft to give to their dads. It was a candy bar in a cape, with a message from the kids, and a Bible verse (we are not sure how many of the candy bars actually made it home).

The Lord has blessed us with a number of faithful volunteers to help manage the every increasing group of children who come each week. We are only able to keep this ministry going because of your financial support and prayers. THANK YOU and May God receive ALL the GLORY!
