Faith Doodle

For this sketch “faith” I pulled from the new and old covenants. One of the ways I (Stephen) study the Holy Bible is through simple drawings I make as I read and meditate or as the Holy Spirit brings images to my mind. The Bible for all my drawings are from my English Standard Version (ESV) without commentary, but, it does have 10,000 cross references. I view it as scripture defining scripture. Many of my doodles show the tie between the Old and New Testaments. I show my references in the drawing, look them up and see if they are related.

Return to Canoas

Pastor Alfredo had tears in his eyes as he expressed his gratitude for the True Path Ministry and Getsemani Church team visit to his tiny village in Canoas Mexico. It has been a while since TPM was in Canoas but Pastor Reynaldo performed a baby dedication there in December. Almost a year ago, Steve and Arlen, were in Canoas to install electrical wiring in the church building (see Church Wiring in Canoas). The remote farm village is deep in the mountains at the end of a steep road. They seldom have outside visitors.

We had just enough gifts left over from Christmas to give each child one after the service. Galeana Pastors Reynaldo and Lulu lead the service and Evangelist Ramiro preached the sermon on Jesus’ parable about the “lost son” (Luke 15:1-7). The kids had their own singing, Bible study and art project, lead by Letty.

It was a great day serving the Lord – Jesus gets the glory!

Complete in Christ

The Marcos 10:14 club learned we are to submit our desires to the will of God. The craft reinforced the fact Christ sees us as important, loved, valuable and complete in His grace. We also celebrated teacher Ana’s birthday with a song, hugs and a cake.

Some of these children come from difficult situations, but at club they are loved and respected as God’s own kids.

It was another good club meeting. It is an honor to work for the kingdom of God!
