Kid’s Club Rain or Shine?
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45
The teaching was about Peter denying Jesus. Jesus told Peter you will deny me. Peter could not believe this because Peter loved Jesus too much. Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” (Matthew 26:34 )
The kids artwork is a rendition of the rooster which crowed. Jesus forgave Peter and Peter became one of Jesus’ greatest disciples. Even though Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 was rainy and cool — we had club indoors and the kids came. So rain or shine, we press on to tell others about the love of Jesus!
