Kid’s Club: One Powerful God
There is only one true God, and he is powerful. The Lord used the Prophet Elijah to show His power and to challenge the false god Baal (1 Kings 18:20-40); “And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said, ‘The Lord, he is God; the Lord, he is God.’” The Marcos 10:14 kid’s club learned about the story, and made their own illustration of the event during craft time. Each week the many children who attend the club meetings learn more about God directly from a story in the Bible. In the process they play some games, eat a snack and have some fun together.
