Walls Going Up at Canoas Church
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. – Proverbs 16:3 (ESV)
We are excited to share that the Canoas worship center rebuild project is now underway! Through the Lord’s favor and the generosity of faithful supporters, funding has been secured for a new structure measuring 10 meters by 6 meters (approximately 33’ x 20’), providing about 660 square feet of worship space for this small, remote village.
Pastor Reynaldo of Centro Cristiano Getsemaní in Galeana, a trusted ministry partner of True Path Ministry, is overseeing the project. He has shared a positive progress report along with photos. The building site has been leveled, the new concrete floor has been completed, and the walls are now going up.
One of the biggest challenges is the remote mountain location. The road is difficult, making the delivery of materials demanding and slow.
The previous church building in Canoas was an aging wooden structure with rotting boards and serious structural issues. It had begun to lean dangerously and was ultimately taken down by local residents.
The people of Canoas, along with local Pastor Alfredo, are faithful followers of Christ. This new worship center will be a meaningful blessing to the village—a place dedicated to God that will serve as a gathering point for worship for many years to come.
Thank you again for the prayers and for the ones who donated to make this happen. God is working in Mexico!
