Full Church, Full Hearts in Purísima

(1/3/2026) – Stephen and Tonyia Williams of True Path Ministry, along with their niece Jeanette, friend Debby, and a group from Centro Cristiano Getsemaní in Galeana, Nuevo León, traveled to Purísima, NL, Mexico. This small village sits beside a clear mountain stream and is the place where the Lord allowed us to help build a new church.

The new building was filled as believers gathered to worship God with heartfelt songs and a time of Spirit-filled prayer and preaching. Pastor Rebeca of the Dios Está Aquí congregation warmly welcomed us. Members of the local church, the Centro Cristiano Getsemaní team, and visitors from other congregations each took turns leading worship through song.

Lluvia delivered a powerful message based on Hosea 2:19. She is a member of Centro Cristiano Getsemaní in Galeana and is currently a student at Berea Instituto Bíblico in Monterrey. Her message reminded everyone that God does not abandon us, even when we feel far away from Him.

Many in the congregation were deeply moved and came forward to the altar for special prayer.

The children enjoyed a special time of songs, games, a Bible lesson, and a craft. Afterward, each child received a backpack filled with school supplies, hygiene items, and a gift. The men were given hats, and the women received clothing and winter hats.

There was a strong sense of gratitude and awe among Pastor Rebeca and the congregation as they reflected on how God faithfully answered their prayers for a church building. They also requested prayer for a few remaining items to help make their church complete. Since this is a regional church, it serves quite a few people, and they need additional chairs. Please join us in lifting up this request. All in all, it was a beautiful day to praise the Lord!
