Everyone Is Important to Jesus
/in Mission Work, News /by adminEvery three months we celebrate the birthdays of the children who were born during the previous three months. For some of these kids it is the only birthday party they will get. Club emphasizes that these children and adults are important to Christ as did The October 4th lesson which talked about the importance of women to Jesus while he was here on earth.
As usual at club, there was a time of prayer, singing, games, a Biblical lesson, craft time and snack. This week’s art project was embellishing a printout of a perfume bottle that included the week’s memory verse. John 12:26 says; “If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.” (“Si alguno me sirve, sígame; y donde yo estuviere, allí también estará mi servidor. Si alguno me sirviere, mi Padre le honrará.”)
Club is always an uplifting time for the kids and adults who are involved – the Lord is glorified. We are able to continue this important ministry because of the contributions from churches and individuals – thank you for giving.
One Who Waters Will Himself Be Watered
/in Mission Work, News /by adminWhoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered (Proverbs 11:25). Jeanette Lewis, our niece who has traveled to Galeana several times, said she came across this verse. She said “she found the perfect verse to describe how helping in Mexico makes her feel.”
Arlen Williams (Stephen’s brother) has also learned the meaning of this proverb firsthand. He was excited to go back to Mexico for his third trip to help True Path Ministry Inc. (TPM) for a couple of weeks. His work took many forms from yard work, to moving furniture, to carrying cement bags.
One of the central tasks during his visit was to help Pastor Reynaldo and his family move from his small three room “casa” (house) into the much larger TPM ministry house. Pastor Reynaldo and wife Lulu will oversee the ministry house, keep it secure, host visitors and setup for events such as Kid’s Club. It is a two story house and they will occupy the bottom floor and the upper floor will be reserved for TPM.
Arlen was in Galeana to do whatever was needed for the ministry. The courtyard area around the ministry house was overgrown and had to be managed. He also carried cement up to the new church building site and other similar manual tasks. He was also part of encouraging the many friends he had met from previous visits.
TPM encourages folks to come see us. There is always something to do from repairing church buildings to ministering to kids. If you would like more information about visiting us in Mexico check out our “visit” page on the TPM website. The Lord will bless and change you through a short term mission trip – He has Arlen.

Galeana New Church Building Update
/in Mission Work, News /by adminTrue Path Ministry Inc. (TPM) works closely with the Iglesia Getsemani for ministry in Christ’s name in the Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico area. TPM is helping the church construct its much needed new building. I am proud to report that good progress has been made. The foundation is complete and the walls are up. Patricio, the concrete contractor, is in the process of putting the final concrete cap on the walls and the church has enough money to complete the walls.
However, the next major step is installing the sheet metal roof at a cost of about $4000 USD. They must have the money in hand before they can start the roof project. Members of Iglesia Getsemani are doing all they can to raise money locally. But, keep in mind Galeana is in an economically poor area and we are a long ways from having a completed building.
They are planning a special fund raiser, specifically for the new church, on October 27th to rally support from the entire Christian community in the Nuevo Leon state. Four prominent Mexican Christian bands and an evangelist from Monterrey will headline the event to be held in Galeana. Please include this event in your prayers.
TPM has received some donations earmarked for the new church building, and we are grateful. But we need your help to raise the balance.
Please pray about making a special donation as an investment in the Lord’s Kingdom. Donations can be made online at: http://truepathministry.com/support/
Checks can be mailed to our USA address (we have a trusted administrator who manages our affairs even when we are in Mexico) mail to:
True Path Ministry Inc.
1420 Moseley Road
Ennis, Texas 75119
Donations are tax deductible.
True Path Ministry is deeply appreciative of the prayer and financial support we receive. We are humbled to be a tiny part of God’s work here on earth. It is all for Jesus.

Grow in Grace and Knowledge of Christ
/in Mission Work, News /by adminBut grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen 2 Peter 3:18 (ESV)
Antes bien, creced en la gracia y el conocimiento de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo. A él sea gloria ahora y hasta el día de la eternidad. Amén. 2 Pedro 3:18 (RVR1960)
2 Peter 3:18 was the memory verse for the Marcos 10:14 Kids Club group on Thursday, September 13. They learned how the Lord knows our name and that we should grow continually in Him. Teacher Patty also had kids come forward who wanted to affirm their commitment to following Jesus. There was, as always, a prayer time, game time, song time, teaching time and meal time. It was a good meeting for the twenty eight kids who were at club.

Arlen Williams from Texas was visiting at club and he was with the kids as they discovered caterpillars.
