True Healing? “Greater Works Than These…”

“When I first took the boy’s pulse it was extremely rapid, which is common in kids. However, his pulse was beyond normal even for a child. Within 30 seconds after we all prayed for the boy’s condition, I felt his pulse begin to slow down and it was so smooth. The boy was crying the whole time we were praying so it was not because he was calm. It was amazing to feel the presence of God and witness His power!” said Tonyia.

Evangelist Tora had asked for a nurse to come forward to monitor the boy’s pulse because he had a heart problem and wanted prayer. Tonyia went forward and, with translator Martin’s help, took his pulse during a time of intense prayer for him.

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12

During this Saturday night service there were many more who experienced healing. The one that stood out the most was a wheelchair bound lady who could not walk. After a time of prayer she not only walked but in joy pushed the Evangelist in her wheelchair.

The True Path Ministry team helped transport leaders from Pastor Reynaldo’s Church in Galeana to the special service in San Rafael. It is about an hour’s drive. The service followed the annual meeting of pastors who are part of the same association. During the service Evangelist Tora Olivores from Peru preached a powerful sermon to the two hundred people gathered. We could feel the Holy Spirit’s presence in the hearts of the people.

There were dozens healed in Jesus’ name by the power of the Holy Spirit. We worshiped and praised the Lord for over three hours. The next day evangelist Tora preached in Pastor Reynaldo’s church and again many were healed.

Pastor Jose’s Church Gets Updates

Pastor Jose leads a very active, Christ-centered and spirit-filled church in the small village of Dieciocho de Marzo. However, they have limited resources and needed help with improvements. The kitchen, in the church, had no water faucet nor counter in the sink area. Plus, a few other pressing issues.

True Path Ministry answered the call and helped with several projects including a new sink area, a new gate to the bathroom area and bench repairs. “It is a labor of love. Helping pastors with their church repairs is one of our callings in Mexico,” said Stephen Williams.

Martin, Pastor Jose, Stephen and another church member recently came together to build the new sink area including new plumbing, a tile covered concrete counter and a new faucet. The team also replaced an old unusable gate with a new wooden gate. The gate leads the way to the “bano” which is behind the church building. In addition, the group repaired some of the hand-made wooden benches which were about to collapse. True Path Ministry has also committed to help paint the benches in the future.

If you fell moved to come help with some of the many projects here in Mexico let us know (see our “visit” page). You will be welcomed as there are many Church buildings and pastor homes that need repairs.

True Path Ministry is very active within the Christian community and has an ongoing list of projects to provide both spiritual and physical support in the area. We are able to continue what we do in large measure because of prayer support we get from Christians like you. Please include our Mexico ministry in your prayers. Also, if you would like to support us financially see our “support” page.
