We headed southwest of Galeana into the desert to deliver gifts to kids in an extremely remote village. San Isidro de Berlangos is a tiny collection of adobe homes in desert ranch country. It took us over three hours to travel to the village. The last section was a very rough dirt road and it took us two hours to cover just twenty miles!
Pastor Primitivo has a great church building and congregation. John, Kim, Tonyia, Stephen, Jesse, Chuy and Karen enjoyed a banquet his wife had prepared and served us – it was great. We then join the congregation in a short worship service. It was a spirit filled time of testimonies, songs and Chuy delivered a brief sermon directed at the children. After the service John and Kim helped hand out about 20 gifts to the children.
It was a good day in the Lord.
