Galeana Mexico Area Needs Prayer after Major Flooding

Tropical Storm Alberto left major flood damage in the Galeana, NL, Mexico area where True Path Ministry serves the Lord. The main road between Galeana and Linares is washed out in places and has been covered by landslides in other places.

This flood damage creates hardships for the people in the area as many workers travel daily to Linares for work. Plus, families in the small mountain villages are cutoff from access to supplies because of road damage.

Pastor Reynaldo and Lourdes of Centro Cristiana Getsemani Church in Galeana work closely with TPM and the remote villages. They have not been able to talk with pastor in places such as Purisima, Refugio, Canoas. They expect communication networks may be down in many areas. The roads to those places are difficult under normal conditions and are impassable after the heavy rains.

Pastor Reynaldo said the town of Galeana had flooding too and water even flowed into the Church building there, but no major damage. The area needs our prayers now. But you are a tower of refuge to the poor, O Lord, a tower of refuge to the needy in distress.
You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat. Isaiah 25:4 (NLT)
